This dining set with table and 4 chairs was designed by Alfred Christensen and manufactured by Slagelse in Denmark in the 1960s. The dining table is in teak with inlay in rosewood in the middle of the table. It has beautiful drawings in the wood and is refined in every detail. The shape of the table makes it a special piece. The table is extendable on both sides. The extensions are stored in the table. There is a label from the manufacturer on the table. This table is orginal and in very good condition. The 4 chairs are in teak and fabric. The back rest and seat make the shape of a boomerang. Truly high end materials and high quality manufacturing. The chairs are in very good condition. There is 1 small spot on the fabric (see last picture). dimensions table: height: 72 cm length: 150 cm (+ 2 extensions of 50 cm) maximum length: 250 cm width: 88,5 - 90,5 cm dimensions chairs: height: 82 cm (seat: 46 cm) width: 47 cm depth: 57 cm

Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) fue un diseñador industrial estadounidense conocido sobre todo por su trabajo para la empresa de muebles Knoll en las décadas de 1940 y 1950. Nació en Boston (Massachusetts) y estudió en la Escuela de Diseño de Rhode Island y en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de París.
