Over dit vintage designmeubel
A large multilayered pendant light created by Kurt Wiborg. It consists of six discs in different sizes creating a wide soft light projection down over a table as well as a decorative light effect as each disc lights up the one below. The light has a matte white powder coating. This is not a thin light weight aluminum light but a sturdy and quite heavy construction. The light has some minor damage in one place along the edge of the largest disc. (see photo). This can easily be touched up if preferred. Apoart from this it is in very good condition. Standard E27 light bulb socket. JEKA Lamps, which was also called Jeka Metaltryk, was started by the designer Kurt Wiborg, who was trained as a metal printer at Georg Jensen’s Sølvsmedie from 1954 to 1959, including 4 years at the artisan school of Copenhagen.
