Danish vintage pendant lamp Nova by Jo Hammerborg for Fog og Morup, 1963

Brass lamp consisting of four shades. The outer lenses are tinted yellow to ensure a warm reflection of the light. The small lampshade that hides the bulb holder has a dark gray coating to soften the light downwards. When lit, the lamp is soft and does not glare downwards, making it ideal for low-hanging, and the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of the few themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg’s work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often manufactured from three different metals - copper, brass, and aluminum. The lamp is in very good condition, with minimal traces of use. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2-meter cable. The cable can be changed to any length and color. Additionally, a canopy is attached to the lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
