Vintage armchair and footrest "Siesta" by Ingmar Relling for Westnova, Norway 1960s

Very comfortable siesta chair by Ingmar Relling for Westnova, Norway. Good condition. Beautiful natural patina on the leather. This is the high-back model that supports the head and neck. Identification sticker found under the frame. The footrest is also included in the price, shows signs of wear around the canvas rings, still very strong. In the 1970’s 16 Siesta chairs were chosen by Jimmy Carter to seat the Carter administration in the Washington Whitehouse.
