Vintage armchair "Kubik" by Gerard vd Berg for Montis, Netherlands 1980s

A lovely easy chair designed by Gerard vd Berg, manufactured by Montis in the Netherlands around 1980. This model is named “Kubik”, which refers to the cubic, straight shapes of the design that gives the piece it’s modern appeal The seat is upholstered in black leather. As a nice contrasting detail, the frame is actually made of stainless steel with a tubular finish. The backwards slanted seat, tall armrests and thick cushion all add nicely to the very comfortable seating experience of this eye-catching chair A wonderful find of Dutch design.
