A good quality oak turned desk or petite table attributed to Charles Dudouyt. France, c1940-50s. A useful functional table that is enhanced by the decorative turned legs typical of Dudouyt’s style. Remains in good vintage condition, some gentle wear namely to the stretcher where the wood has been rubbed over the years of use. Location: Belgium Gallery. Dimensions: 75 H x 67 D x 114 W in cm. Charles DUDOUYT

Charles Dudouyt (1885-1947) was een Franse ontwerper en meubelmaker die actief was in de jaren 1920 en 1930. Hij is vooral bekend om zijn Art Deco meubelen, die gekenmerkt worden door strakke lijnen, eenvoudige geometrische vormen, hoogwaardige materialen en zorgvuldige afwerking.
