Over dit vintage designmeubel

Expressive and colourful sculpture of a female figure, possibly a fertility statue. The imagery and style date it to the 1980s. The figure is made from earthenware, coloured in bright yellow, orange and purple with a textured surface that is still smooth to the touch. The hips are draped in clay that’s been given the appearance of a piece of cloth or textile pinned onto the semi nude female figure. The outstretched arms and expressive face make it a very dynamic, lively depiction of a female figure. It’s signed on the lower edge. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to decipher the artist’s name. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage. Dimensions H: 38cm x W: 16cm x D: 11cm
