Vintage "Calvi" side chair by Gijs Papavoine for Montis, Netherlands 1980s

A unique chair, model “Calvi”, designed by Gijs Papavoine and manufactured by Montis in the Netherlands around 1980. This lovely side chair has a beautiful postmodern design that will definitely draw the attention in the decor It has tall, grey metal legs and a square shaped seat, backrest and armrests. The seat is upholstered in red leather and the back and armrests in black leather. These colours contrast really nicely and add perfectly to appeal of the design The armrests have a subtle curve as a nice detail. It remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
