Lounge chair, solid teak frame with curved armrests, cushion upholstered in original gray woolly fabric. This beautiful chair was made in Denmark in the 1950s by Kurt Østervig and manufactured at Glostrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark. It features beautifully sculpted armrests with subtle joints and a stunning high wingback. The chair still has the original woolen upholstery in great condition. Few signs of use on the teak wood Danish sculptural high back teak armchair by Kurt Ostervig, circa 1960s. Solid teak construction with angled back legs and sculpted leaf-shaped floating armrests. Newly upholstered in a gray fabric with all-new foam. Tightly upholstered curved back and seat according to the original design. Very comfortable and compact lounge chair. A rare and striking mid-century Danish modern lounge chair. Timeless style.
