J M Birking & Co Copenhagen lounge chair, 1960s Set of three. This is a nice set of three chairs made of walnut wood. The tires have been completely restored, the leather cushions are original. These chairs were made by J.M Birking & Co Copenhagen 1960. If you’re looking for Scandinavian design, this is the chair you need. Made by the Danish brand JM Birking and sons in the Danish capital Copenhagen. Presumably from around 1960. The chair is in beautiful condition, with just enough patina to give it that beautiful vintage look. The beautiful bent (walnut) wood makes the chair one of the most beautiful that ever emerged from this workshop. The leather is in good condition and still has all the original buttons.
