Vintage side table with ceramic top, Italy 1960-1970s

Vintage mid-century side table with glazed ceramic and terracotta top from Italy (see photo), circa 1960-1970. The piece is made of wood with a teak-colored finish, resting on 4 tapered legs, which all have their original plastic leg tips with adjustable glides and a brass-colored finish. The table top has 4 different glazed ceramic tiles (2 of each), which are placed on the edges to create a nice pattern. In the center is a square checkerboard pattern of 9 smaller clay tiles, with only 1 placed in the middle, which differs from the others. All the colours and designs of the tiles are typical of this period. The table has wooden edges, of the same colour as the rest of the structure. The piece is in good overall condition, original, vintage, with some marks and signs of age and previous use, as well as a patina of time on the table top, (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective), edges, edges (see photos), legs and end caps (see photos), which are related to time. The piece is solid, robust and stable. The legs can be unscrewed and will be dismantled for shipping.
