Mid century Jupiter lounge chair by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, Belgium 1970s

A “Jupiter” lounge chair, designed by Pierre Guariche and manufactured by Meurop in Belgium around 1970. The black skai (faux leather) upholstered seat has a deep, round shape which creates a unique style and very nice seating comfort This inviting piece stands on a black plastic swivel base (with metal core) which fits the piece seamlessly and gives it the typical seventies style A wonderful piece that will be a welcome addition to the interior. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
