Vintage teak highboard by Victor Wilkins for G Plan, Scandinavian 1960

Description: This unusual high sideboard was designed by Victor Wilkins and produced by the British furniture manufacturing company G-Plan in the mid-20th century. G Plan - E. Gomme Ltd was based in High Wycombe, England, a major British furniture manufacturing centre. The company was revered for its range of high quality sideboards, tables and other cabinetry and for pioneering the creation of bespoke designed and made furniture sets. This piece of furniture, part of G Plans' popular "Scandi" range, features a fold-down drinks cabinet, a hidden drawer and an open-front shelf. Below this is a spacious double cupboard and three drawers. The cabinet features a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colors.
