Vintage highboard by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik, Scandinavian 1960

Scandinavian high sideboard by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik from the 1960's. Designed and made in Denmark, distributed by samcom (stamped on the back) and labelled "uldum møbelfabrik" on the bar part. Model Um14 in teak, fully restored. It is composed of 4 sliding doors opening on adjustable shelves and 6 drawers in the lower part (4 small ones covered with green vintage felt with their traces of use and 2 large ones in the center), a bar part in the center with a mirror, 1 sliding grey lacquered shelf, 1 shelf in black striated glass, 2 drawers and 1 shelf. The handles are in solid teak of a great finesse. Emblematic piece of Danish design, timeless and elegant, of exceptional quality. Great storage capacity, no imperfections, satin finish varnish.
