Vintage Stracciatella Murano Swirl Ceiling Flush Mount Lamp by Murano Vetri Italy 1960s

Stracciatella is an imposing Murano Vetri Ceiling light realised by Murano Glass Blowers in the late 60s. The lamp shade ( 46 cm diameter) shows the refined swirl technique with a breathtaking and rare stracciatella effect. The aluminium solid structure is unique and genius to my eyes. A lever is moving the mechanism that permits to remove the metal structure form the precious glass. This unusual and comfortable structure is an example of Italian mid-century lightning craftsmanship. It fits 3 regular E27 light bulbs and it gives a beautiful warm and embracing effect once lighted up. The glass shows the Murano Vetri label which gives us the assurance of the manufactory of this piece of art.
