Over dit vintage designmeubel
This special model of Friso Kramer 1202 is covered with black synthetic leather and is in good condition. The cover is only slightly worn on one corner and at the back. The fiberglass shell of the seats is perfect and without cracks. The aluminium feet show signs of use. This very light bench is one of the classics and was sold by Wilkhahn as a bestseller for public buildings or squares in the 1970s. Friso Kramer designed this bench in 1967 and was very successful when it was used at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. More than 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946, contacts were established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the leading manufacturers of office furniture.
