Pair of vintage Table Lamps Hollywood Regency Maison Charles Pineapple Fruit French 1960s

Stunning pair of tall decorative table lamps by Maison Charles, Paris. Raised square black enamelled columns with inlaid brass detail are raised on a stepped brass base. The column topped with a brass bowl holding beautifully cut crystal fruits with brass stems and leaves. When lit, the light bounces back off the brass bowl and illuminates the fruit. Overall good condition. Rewired, cleaned and polished. Dark grey shades with gold lining and detail included. One of the leaves is missing from the bunch of grapes – see image comparison. The brass foot at the underside of both bowls has a split, which is not visible as it’s at the back of the lamps (see last image). Light pitting to the brass base and bowl, as would be expected from a period piece. (Measurement without shade: 40cm high x 14cm w x 14cm deep)
