Vintage pendant lamp Semi by Bonderup&Thorup, Fog og Morup, Danish 1968

Semi was designed in 1968 as the product of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp that had sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted to the competition at the School of Architecture and won the first prize. In the 1980s, the lamp achieved great success and became the best-selling Danish design at the time and achieved worldwide recognition and icon status. This is the original copy produced by Fog og Morup. The lamp is in almost perfect condition for its years. Exceptionally well-kept copy. The cable has been replaced with a new one.
