Vintage Danish suspension lamp by Arne Jacobsen Louis Poulsen 1960

The Royal AJ lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu) and was part of the overall concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel's products have now become design icons, and in the lighting field, AJ lamps in particular are known worldwide. AJ Royal has a clean geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical luminaire housing provides excellent soft light. The lamp is in very good condition, except for the scratch you can see on the pictures. The lamp is still in production today. dimensions : diameter: 37cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has an original braided cable about 2 meters long. The cable can be replaced at any length. In addition, a roof covering is attached to it.
