Vintage office armchair by J&J Kohn 1890

Office or occasional armchair made of bent beechwood, edited by j&j Kohn Austria in the 1890s 1912. J&j Kohn was founded in 1849 by Jacob Kohn who was inspired by the patents and techniques of Tunaet to create his own range (bistro chair, chairs and furniture). In 1912 it will be associated with Mundus and later in 1922 with thonet, hence a lot of similarity between the brands and therefore some products like this one can be found under different names depending on the manufacturer. The armchair is in very good original condition and condition with regard to its age, traces and marks of use and use and patina of time. Decor on the wooden seat. Note a mark of the wood that has worked or cracked at the back of the top of the seat. Armchair is solid, stable and stamped.
