Vintage Armchair Model 107 with wooden hairpin legs by Theo Ruth Artifort

This armchair by Theo Ruth – model 107 – with cute wooden hairpin legs and small elegant armrests is one of the early modernistic armchairs from Artifort (The Netherlands). This chair combines the ‘new’ and transparant lines with the comfort of the lazy chairs from before the war. It is completly restored and professionally re-upholstered with a black woven woollen fabric on the back and bottom side and a black and white woven checkered fabric on the frontside of the armchair. We think that this accentuates the playful design. Both fabrics are from Kvadrat from the Hallingdal 65 series. The seating height is 38 cm.
