Papa bear style chair Italian vintage, Ercolani 1960s

Modern midcentury Italian chic wingback armchair. This eye-catching ’papa bear’ like piece is very recent re-upholstered in an excellent grey wool furniture fabric (Ploegwool) and in extreme good condition. The light reclining position of the seat gives the piece a great comfort. Although there is no label present, the elegantly shaped beech armrest and tapered, wide spread legs are the design characteristics of the Ercol trademark and gives this design its own distinctive (Ercolani) presence, 1960s.
