The popularity of this chair came from the timeless design, but also from the invention (Jørgen Rasmussen) from the Kevi wheel in 1965. This innovation meant that the chairs were easier to move. Jørgen Rasmussen received a lot of recognition and many prizes for this invention. Many believe that there is still no better wheel for chairs than the Kevi wheel. The Kevi chair is included in the interior of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
