Vintage rosewood secretary, 1960s

Magnificent Scandinavian style secretary with flap in Rio rosewood. This right secretary is a rare French work of the 1960s. He plays in minimalist and elegant forms. Indeed, the straight lines of this secretary are atypical and offer him a very special presence. These minimalist lines highlight the materials used, in other words, the Rio rosewood. This wood is known for its wonderful grain forming beautiful patterns. Veneered vertically on the front and top, the veneer is veneered horizontally on the sides. It's an interesting subtlety that adds depth to the chest of drawers. The flap reveals a drawer and 2 removable vertical shelves. Both the back of the flap and the back of the lower door are also veneered. The lower part reveals a large storage locker. This piece of furniture can be used as a bar. A light pad varnish was applied to give shine and relief. We have the chest of drawers from the same collection.
