Vintage hanging ball lamp in White Opaline Glass & Bakelite

Beautiful vintage ceiling light from the midcentury era of Czechoslovakian design. Produced in 1950s when bakelite was very popular and was used a lot in the lighting fixtures. The light is very elegant with a classical look and colors. The shield is made of white opaline glass, which gives a beautiful, soft light. The glass in excellent condition. The bakelite parts are in very good condition with only minor wear. The metal rod holding the light is strong, with chrome finish and in a very good condition. The light was rewired by a professional electrician.
