Vintage bed teak with floating night stands by Hans Wegner for Getama, Denmark 1960s

Stunning rare Hans J. Wegner bed in teak. Manufactured in 1960s by Getama, in Denmark but still looks truly amazing today. Floating bed side tables topped with black glass plates. Each night table has one drawer and storage space underneath. Headboard covered with black leatherette. The bed frame is very sturdy - typical mid century modern Danish quality. Slatted bed bases (frames) included. A timeless design by one of the most famous designers to come out of Denmark in the Mid Century era. The bed is stamped with the signature Getama makers mark. A great addition to any mid century - modern home bedroom. Very good condition with minimal signs of wear, refreshed with Danish Oil. One glass tabletop with small chip on the corner.
