Danish vintage pendant lamp by Vitrika, 1960s

A unique lamp of the Danish brand Vitrika, made of aluminum. The lamp is probably from the ’60s. Danish lighting manufacturer Vitrika started in 1948 as a trio of retailer, designer and craftsman. All three of them started designing and producing lighting together. The name Vitrika - which was also the company’s motto - consists of the Danish words "Vi tre Kan" (we three can do). Much of the production was focused on wall and bedside lamps. Lamps were mainly made of materials such as glass and brass. The projects were characterized by an expressive, pure form, retaining their characteristic expression, which undoubtedly distinguished them from other Danish lighting manufacturers. The lamp is in very good condition for its age, signs of use in the form of small upholstery and natural patina. It has an original light-suppressing diffuser.
