Vintage armchair Ds50 by De Sede, Switzerland 1970s

A beautiful lounge chair, model DS-50, manufactured by De Sede in Switzerland around 1970. This wonderful piece is made of thick quality neck leather in a nice brown colour. The piece has a very comfortable seat and high backrest, as well as a reclining mechanism that allows different seating positions and a maximum level of comfort It stands on a brown leather upholstered tulip shaped base with a swivel mechanism. This refined piece of Swiss design perfectly combines comfort with beauty and would make a valuable addition to the decor The “De Sede” mark is spread around the underside of the seat upholstery, as shown in photos. It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
