As in every Tobia Scarpa project, Form (essential) and substance, given by the quality materials, are orchestrated by the purest design. The removable cushions covered in cognac-colored leather, as well as the structure that can be disassembled thanks to the latches; makes it a truly industrial product, as the figure of the craftsman is not indispensable in production. The wide boards that surround the cushions are veneered in walnut-stained oak, and have been completely restored. On the cushions, on the other hand, no type of intervention was carried out except for a deep cleaning and hydration of the leather, which shows minimal signs of use and a small stain, visible in the photo, which is covered by the right armrest. A frame spring is missing. The wood structure has been completely restored and polished.
