Vintage beechwood coat rack, 1960s

Vintage, mid-century floor-standing coat rack with ten 1960s hooks. The piece is made of beech, with ten bentwood hooks: five larger ones on the top level and five smaller ones on the bottom level. It stands on four bentwood legs (see photos.) Made by Baumann in the 1960s, this model is an iconic classic and is referenced under the "serial number 198". The upper part, swivelling and removable (see photos.) They were typically found in French bistros at that time. The piece is in excellent, near new, original, vintage condition, with extremely light signs and marks of previous use on the frame, hooks and legs (see photos.) It is solid, stable and has only been gently cleaned from the original patina of time.
