Vintage free standing shelving unit in teak by Poul Cadovius for Cado, Denmark 1960s

This beautiful Danish Royal shelving unit designed by Poul Cadovius in the 1960s was produced by Cado in Denmark. It stands on solid teak support legs with precise joinery joints with a unique skid shape. It is an entirely modular system that one can freely arrange according to his taste. Two dressers with beautiful wood grain for the necessary storage space and nine shelves for storing books, accessories, or plants provide functionality. But furthermore, exceptional brass holders of the shelves create this elegant, beautiful visual appearance, which distinguishes a Danish style in the mid-century modern design.  This wall unit consists of  - 2 chest of 4 drawers H 51,5cm x W 80cm xD 40cm (drawers height: 771115 cm) - 8 shelves 20 cm deep - 1 shelf 30 cm deep  - 4 support legs 197 cm long  - brass hardware This piece is in perfect vintage condition with only very few signs of age-related wear with lovely patina and oiled finish, which helps to nourish and enhance the wood grain.
