Description: This delightful dining table and four chairs were designed by Tom Robertson for Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century. McIntosh was known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak cabinetry and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife. The popular ’space saving’ model dining table and four chairs offer not only an exceptional mid-century design but also acts as a functional and practical dining table with spacious seating for four to six people. The four dining chairs tuck neatly underneath the table when not in use. The piece has a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this table & chairs and refinished them with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. The four chairs have been professionally reupholstered in black faux-leather material. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.
