Mid-century lamp in chrome and art glass from Murano, Italy 1960

Extraordinary Italian art glass table lamp from the 1960s There is no trademark but for its workmanship, the lamp is attributable to Mazzega Murano. The clear Murano glass bowl has inside it countless air bubbles of different sizes and produced with a special processing during the manufacturing which, like optical lenses, create very beautiful effects. All around the sphere there is an incredible wave decoration created with amber coloured glass, typical of the period. The base is made of chrome-plated metal with a wooden element. A collector's item, it will fit into any room of the house and furnishing styles. Glass bowl is original, with minimal signs of use, no cracks. See photos. The chromed metal base is in good condition: there are signs of use but absolutely compatible with age. The electrical part is in order, the wire, the switch and the standard E27 lampholder are original. Weight: 2.6 kg
