Vintage chair by Le Corbusier for Thonet France 1940s

A beautiful dining chair, commissioned by Le Corbusier and manufactured by Thonet in France around 1940. The dark brown wooden frame supports a webbed seat and back. Combined with the elegant shape of the frame, this gives the piece a wonderful classic yet modern style. This is a dining chair, but it can also be used as a desk chair or an eye-catching side chair. It is in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
