An ashtray or a hand-made glass urn designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz at Krakowskie Zakłady Szklarskie at 3 Lipowa Street in Krakow, Poland in the 1970s. L. Bąkowski, D. Chazan i Ska ". On Lipowa Street, mainly vodka bottles were produced, at the request of the State Spirit Monopoly, but also bottles for wine, mineral water and pharmacy glass were manufactured here. After World War II, the property became the property of the state. Krakowskie Zakłady Szklarskie was established, which, apart from the glassworks at Lipowa, included the "Wawel" Glassworks at Zabłocie 80 and the Glassworks in Skawina. In the 1960s, in the buildings at Lipowa 3, a scientific and research center dealing with glass began operating, connected with the glassworks in the early 1970s. At that time, as a branch of the Warsaw Institute of Glass (later: the Glass and Ceramics Institute), the center prospered very well, employing almost 500 people. He was famous throughout Poland not only for conducting specialized research on glass, but also for the production of colored artistic glasses, known as Krakow glass. Vases, cups, chalices, platters, candlesticks and mugs were designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz, Michał Jakubas, Zofia Pasek, Marian Gołogórski, Barbara Świstacka, Monika Orkusz, Piotr Kozłowski, Ryszard Serwicki, and then implemented with the use of traditional glass making tools by highly qualified steel workers in the hall at Lipowa. Hand-formed products, signed with the image of a dragon blowing a glass bubble, quickly gained popularity in the country and abroad.
