Vintage A.J. Iversen mahogany sideboard by Ole Wanscher

This sideboard is an early design of Danish designer Ole Wanscher. It is veneered in mahogany wood, has solid mahogany legs and rosewood details on the bottom of the legs and handles on the tambour doors. It has been fully refinished. The front of this sideboard is curved, the back is straight, this gives this piece a very nice classic look. The tambour doors slide in so the cabinet can be opened fully. The drawers have their original brass pulls but are missing the key. This sideboard is in good condition with signs of use, the top has some dents that have been filled, visible scratches and a veneer repair. The legsframe have been tampered with by a previous owner. We have restored them so that the sideboard is structually sound again. The restauration can be seen slightly on the legs and strechers between the legs, please see the photo’s for this.
