Description: This delightful table and chair set produced by British furniture manufacturing company G-Plan in the mid-twentieth-century G Plan - E. Gomme Ltd based in High Wycombe, England, a major centre of British furniture manufacturing. The company was revered for its range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of a dining room sets designed and made to match. The beautiful teak round table extends with a central ’butterfly leaf’ that neatly tucks away under the two main leaves when not in use. The popular design Victor Wilkins chairs tuck tidily around the stunning round table. Each of the dining chairs has been fully stripped and reupholstered in a beautiful teal material. The set has a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout.
