Description: This mid-century teak dining table and four chairs were designed and manufactured by British furniture maker Portwood in the mid-twentieth century. This superbly designed set has been produced to a high standard, with its iconically shaped chairs and table base, striking sharp grain and beautiful iconic style throughout the set. The four dining chairs have been carefully reupholstered and are in fantastic restored condition. The table has an iconic square base to match the four chairs, and comfortably accommodates the four chairs with space for at least four more. The table has a hidden extension leaf that packs away neatly under the table when not in use. The entire set looks and feels quality, Portwood was renowned for producing what is now keenly collected and highly regarded furniture. the company is synonymous with an iconic design, quality materials, craftsmanship and is built for longevity. This is a real eye-catching piece of retro furniture which is no longer in production.
