Vintage pendant lamp AJ Royal 370 by Arne Jacobsen, Louis Poulsen Danish 1960

The AJ Royal lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu). AJ Royal has a clean, geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical luminaire housing provides excellent, soft light. The lamp was part of the hotel’s overall design concept. Several hotel products have achieved the status of design icons today, and in the field of lighting, AJ Royal lamps, in particular, have become world-famous and are in production until today. The lamp is in good condition, has a few scratches and upholstery visible in the photos. Dimensions: diameter: 37cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has an original braided cable. The cable can be changed to any length and color. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp.
