Sobre este mueble de diseño vintage
Niels Otto Møller stands out as one of the greats of mid-century Danish design and was best known for the many chairs he designed during his long career as a designer. Model 75 may be one of the most unobtrusive, but its simple, curved backrest and structure have a lasting quality that remains unmistakably Møller's. This particular chair is made of dark stained teak wood framed with great character which, at one point in its life, was combined with a soft black leather seat cushion (the original seat would have been made of paper) which adds to the comfort and durability. It's in very good condition and has suffered some bumps to the frame, as one would expect, but the leather seat is virtually unmarked. The chair also benefits from the original JL. Møllersand Danish Design under the seat. Originally designed as a dining room chair, it could also be used as an office or dressing table chair, or as a side or side chair. The chair also matches well in terms of colour, size and proportion with the rosewood kneeling desk (available on one of my other lists on this website) as shown in the last two pictures.
