Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen commissioned him to design lamps for different room sizes. Initially, Wohlert was called Sattelite on the Danish market, now the international name has been changed to Wohlert after the name of the designer. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The matt glass surface provides even and diffused light. The hole in the bottom of the luminaire gives direct light directed downwards.
