He studied architecture. In 1966 he emigrated to England, where he worked on the construction of the liner Queen Elizabeth 2, and settled in France, where he began a long and fruitful collaboration with the Steiner company. Many of the works he created were included in the Pantheon of Design of the 1960s and 1970s. He died in 1990 in Hong Kong.
