Vintage XL Hanging lamp by Franco Bresciani for Guzzini, Italy 1970s

A beautiful, extra large hanging lamp by Italian designer Franco Bresciani for famous manufacturer Guzzini, Italy. This eye-catching piece is made of white perspex. The large round shade covers the top of the light source but leaves the bulb revealed. This creates a nice, multi-dimensional effect when lit The light is gently diffused through the top of the hood, nicely lighting it up, while underneath it emits a wide, warm light, The hood is 15 cm tall. Another appealing feature of this piece, is the chrome plated metal counterweight that holds the wire that the hood hangs from and allows adjustability. A lovely piece with many nice details, that will look amazing in many decors It remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a very nice patina.
