“Hunting Chair” with stool by Uno & Osten Kristiansson, Sweden 1950

This is a beautiful and rare “Hunting Chair” complete with matching ottoman foot stool, designed by Uno & Osten Kristiansson, manufactured in Sweden around 1950. It is a unique set made of high quality wood with wonderful rounded corners and a smooth, elegant design. The cushions are newly upholstered in high quality cognac leather. Behind the cushions are rope nets, which provides a beautiful style and additional comfort as it allows the cushions to move slightly with the user. The backrest of the seat is slightly tilted, which adds to the amazing seating comfort of this iconic piece. This fantastic set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
