Vintage Wooden umbrella stand by Willem van Gelderen, for 't Spectrum, Netherlands 1950s

A nice wooden umbrella stand, made in the Netherlands. This lovely vintage piece has a round base and top, held together by several wooden spokes. Also the top of the piece is wider than the bottom. This makes it perfect for it’s purpose and at the same time a lovely mid-century piece It remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
