Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen commissioned him to design lamps for various room sizes. In addition, installation, replacement of light sources and maintenance must be easy. Initially, Wohlert has called Sattelite on the Danish market, now the international name is Wohlert after the designer’s name. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The matt glass surface provides even and diffused light. The hole in the part of the luminaire gives the value of the light directed downwards. Lamps are still in production today.
