Vintage pair of black Walter Knoll "Don" chairs by Bernd Münzebrock

This pair of black DON chairs in the lowback version is for some people the epitome of a lounge chair. The leather of these two chairs comes in good condition, smooth and shiny with some signs consistent to age. The metal base is also in good condition, the swivel mechansim works fine, 360 swivel. Price for the pair The family company Wilhem Knoll was founded in 1865 manufacturing outstanding leather furniture. In 1925 Walter Knoll was part of the avantgarde and his company one of the view concentrating on Bauhaus designs. Designed from Bernd Münzebrock the DON chairs were for a long time part of the furniture of the Kanzler office and conference rooms. Big dimensions and highest quality in manufacturing make it outstanding.
