Pair of Ercol vintage chairs model 909 Latimer. Allow me to present you this sumptuous pair of dining chairs edited by Ercol, design by Luciano Ercolani. This specific model is referred to as the "Hoop Back" chair, No 909 Latimer. Contrary to the more common Ercol models, the Latimer finish is the top of the range model and has very specific characteristics. The Hoop Back or oyster-shaped hoop has 9 bars on the backrest. The bars between the feet present this beautiful semi-circle is two bars that join the rear feet unlike the classic H-shaped models. The seats of the chairs are made of solid English elm, the legs and backs are made of beech. The chairs are in excellent original condition, with a superb patina of time and some very very slight marks of use. Skates are present. The two chairs have their 2 labels of origin and manufacture (see pictures). Exceptional pieces, not very frequent for sale in this condition and in pairs. They will delight all connoisseurs, amateurs and lovers of beautiful designs. They can be enthroned and will be perfect in a modern or vintage interior. Seat height: 43 cm.
