Vintage coffee table in glass and lucite - 1970s

This striking table uses of two materials that appear to be very similar. Thick glass and moulded lucite, but they have subtile differences which show up when put together. The 19mm glass has a green tint because of its thickness and has the dark bottle green edge. The lucite is clearer and the edges pick up reflections of colours from the room. The lucite bolts add another level of excitement.
