Rio rosewood bar coffee table by Adolf Relling and Rolf Rastad in 1962. Consisting of a circular tray whose halves rise and opens on a rotating box to accommodate glasses and bottles. This particularly original and ingenious system, first designed for a sewing table and then declined into a bar, was awarded a first design award in Oslo in 1962.

Rolf RASTAD & Adolf RELLING

Rastad & Relling ist der Name eines norwegischen Designerduos, das aus Rolf Rastad und Adolf Relling bestand. Beide wurden 1915 in Norwegen geboren und begannen ihre Zusammenarbeit im Jahr 1943. Sie studierten an der Kunst- und Handwerkerschule in Oslo, wo sie sich auf Möbeldesign spezialisierten.
